Winter storm

Are you a little amused by the television wags and their coverage of the winter storm battering the east coast? I realize there's hardships with such a storm, but what about us? What is it we've been putting up with? 75 degrees and sunny skies? Catch Steve, afternoons 3-7 on KZ-100

The Beach Boys had a song titled "The Warmth of he Sun". Seems to be the mantra in getting this snow and ice off the roads. You may want to catch a part of the Grammies this weekend on CBS. Mixed in with the hip-hop music will be Eric Church, Maren Morris and Brothers Osborne with a song dedicated to the victims of the Las Vegas massacre. On that subject of the Las Vegas tragedy, it seems like multiple groups are keeping information from the public. I've read that advance notice may have been known by some public and private groups. Hmmm?

Favorite Christmas

Probably in the mid 60's...my brother Richard got a stingray 12 speed bike and I got a mini-bike, we always had a little rivalry, he was a year older than me and challenged me to a race. Yea, that's right a race, his pedal power and my 3 1/2 horsepower mini-bike, we headed down to Patton Elementary school (Ft. Ord-California) where there was a 50 yard track. And we're off...I blew him away and shut him up for the rest of the day!
